About

Dedicated to Rescuing and Rehoming Dogs

Shebas is Jefferson Davis County’s sole animal rescue, committed to sheltering and caring for unwanted dogs. We are strong supporters of families and their pets staying together during hard times. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) in April 2024, we’ve transformed over 400 lives by finding loving homes or partner rescues, and helping families stay together. Compassion fuels our mission to nurture every dog with love and hope.
